一、背景/background
随着国家节能减排、自主创新政策的不断深入，用户对泵的各项技术要求都达到了一个新的高度。面对市场需求，针对行业发展，将邀请国内外知名泵制造企业、行业专家及用户,就彼此关注的技术问题，于2007年11月在北京举办“首届国际泵技术高峰论坛”，本次论坛旨在大力倡导节能与创新，推动泵行业技术进步，提升产品性能，为制造企业和用户搭建良好的沟通平台。
according to the demand on energy conservation to reduce emissions and independent innovation in china, customers require higher technology of pumps. as the market demand and the trade development, the first international pump technology peak forum will be performed in beijing in november, 2007. it is about the concerned technology problems. and we will invite the domestic and foreign known enterprises, customers and experts attending the forum. it is for the purpose of sparkpluging energy-saving and innovation, driving the technical progress in pump industry, lifting product performance, emphasizing the communication between the manufacturing enterprises and customers.

三、论坛内容及规模/contentandscales
首届国际泵技术高峰论坛由演讲和讨论两部分组成，论坛内容紧扣泵产品的“节能与创新”问题。与会人员预定300人，主要组成：泵产品最终用户，即市政、石化、电力、冶金、环保、水处理等行业的用户企业代表；设计院、水务公司、工程公司及项目咨询公司代表；行业专家、国际领先的泵制造及配套企业高层技术和管理人员，以及相关领域政府官员和行业协会负责人。
the first international pump technology peak forum includes two parts: speaking and communicating. the content should be close to the topic of energy-saving and innovation. there will be 300 people attending the forum. conventioneers will involve pump products consumers, such as the representatives in the fields of municipal, petrochemical, power, metallurgy, environmental, sewage treatment, etc. it will also include technology and consulting experts, those are from municipal engineering design & research institute, consulting engineering company, water affairs company, known universities, and professional industry association. also, there will be international advanced pump products and its complimentary products manufacturers. in addition, there is going to be officers in the interrelated fields, and leaders of the industry association.
